Born in 1972 in Wiltshire, David Farren now lives and works at his home in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire.Original paintings
Since turning professional in 2000, David has quickly gained a reputation as a modern impressionist, using open brushwork and colour to represent the energy and movement of the urban landscape. He aims to capture the ambience and individuality of cities and provide a snapshot of everyday street life.
David paints in both oil and acrylic, enjoying the immediacy and versatility of both mediums, appropriate for his direct style of painting.
